Do you enjoy helping people and being there when they need a little extra support? Visiting Angels is looking for caring and dependable caregivers in Philadelphia, especially those who live near Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Emergency Department. We’re looking for people who genuinely care about others and want to do work that feels meaningful at the end of the day.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Spend time with clients and provide companionship
  • Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
  • Assist with walking, transfers, and everyday activities
  • Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Assist with errands and transportation when needed
  • Follow the client’s care plan
  • Keep the office or family informed about changes in the client’s needs
  • Most importantly, help clients feel comfortable, safe, and cared for

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
  • CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable vehicle and Reliable transportation
  • Recent TB test or willingness to complete the required testing
  • Reliable, patient, and compassionate
  • Someone who treats clients with kindness and respect
