Visiting Angels Mainline is looking for experienced, compassionate, and professional Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our Homecare team (expansion position). In this role, you will complete preliminary home visits and on-going assessments of our senior clients. You will also complete supervisory checks of caregivers, ensuring the safety, wellness, and satisfaction of clients and their families. This role is full time between both locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure company standards as a quality provider through the implementation of excellent quality care and exceptional customer service
  • Conduct Home Visits to bring new clients or reinstate old clients
  • Conduct in-home supervisory visits every 30 and 60 days
  • Update the plan of care and make necessary revisions as needed
  • Conduct safety checks in the home to maintain a safe environment for clients
  • Supervise, teach and orient caregivers per agency guidelines and regulatory standards
  • Participate in the supervision of Caregivers; recognize Caregivers for a job well done
  • Identify Caregiver performance issues and address appropriately
  • Co-manage Caregiver training program
  • Participate in the quality assurance evaluations of the services provided to the clients
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the Management team
  • Must be willing to help in two step PPD program as and when required

Requirements:

  • Nursing degree from an accredited school of professional nursing; at least 5 years of nursing experience, preferred
  • Currently registered/licensed with the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing
  • Previous nursing/managerial experience in private duty home care and at least two years of Dementia care experience preferred
  • Sales experience preferred 
  • Goal centered team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and problem solve 
  • Must have a yearly TB test
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize tasks and perform timely in a highly demanding environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail and willingness to delegate
  • Team player who is able to follow policies and directives independently
  • Ability to identify and analyze complex issues and problems in personnel and other management areas, recommend and implement solutions

This position will be for our Havertown location. Our Havertown office is located at 1950 Lawrence Road, First Floor, Havertown, PA 19083.

We serve Greater Philadelphia area- from Delaware border to Warminister, PA. This role supports clients in Mainline, but maybe required to help out in our other territories. This position requires travel to these areas and additional areas in our territory.
